Job Description

There are opportunities for assurance engineers/senior assurance engineers to join our newly established assurance department which provides the following capabilities:

• Independent Peer Review / Independent Technical Assessment
• Licence Condition / Statutory Compliance
• External Regulator Interface
• Internal Regulation
• Intelligent Customer
• Periodic Review of Safety
• Organisational Capability
• Management Systems
• Quality Assurance

The focus of the role will be to support the delivery of projects, related to these capabilities, to our clients. 

You will be based in our Plymouth Office at Plymouth Science Park.

Key Skills, Experience & Attitudes

• Degree qualified or equivalent in an engineering or science related discipline.
• Adept at problem-solving, with good attention to detail.
• Experience in authoring and/or reviewing technical reports.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with all audiences/stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience of at least one of the capabilities listed above.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience of working within Defence or high hazard regulated industries.
• Knowledge of statutory legislation.
• Experience of working within an ISO 9001 operating environment.
