Yealm Yatch Sailing Club
Local Yealm Yacht Sailing Club (YYC) run yacht and dayboat races throughout the summer season. Highlights of the season include the annual yacht coastal races and to Trebeurden France, the annual Autumn series of yacht races, Devon Yawl Nationals and an annual RNLI charity passage race.
YYC supports local community sail training for 8-12 year olds and offers a full follow on sailing Cadet Programme.
Paul Richardson supports the Yacht Programme, with NESC supporting the annual final yacht race annual dinner and a weekly prize of a local gin bottle for each race winner or race runner ups.
