I have recently joined NESC as a graduate Human Factor Engineer following my graduation from the University of Plymouth this summer. The transition from University to NESC has offered an exciting opportunity to develop new professional skills, knowledge of the nuclear sector, and the complex role Human Factors plays in ensuring nuclear safety.

The in-depth training modules provided by NESC has proven their dedication to building a strong workforce through the further development of graduates. Following the completion of my training, I will join projects mentored by a Senior Human Factors engineer, allowing me to implement my degree and further training in the real world. The opportunities provided at NESC, and the support given by mentors and staff has made the transition from university seamless for me and other graduates.
