Graduate Human Factors Engineer

Having graduated from the University of Plymouth with a degree in Psychology, I joined NESC as a Graduate Human Factors Engineer. Currently I am completing training, developing an enriched understanding of the nuclear industry. While learning all areas within the profession, a reoccurring foundation is the importance of safety. Upon completing my training, I can continue to develop by working on client projects and specialising to human factors.

NESC provides the opportunity for continuous learning and specialisation, where you will be supported in any route you take. The transition from education to employment has been well fitting and welcoming. The support NESC provides to graduates makes the adjustment smooth, preparing me with the skills for projects as well as obtaining chartership. Taking the opportunity presented by being located in the Southwest, in my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors through hobbies such as golf. This is a passion which NESC as a company gives the opportunity to enjoy to the fullest, through the staff outreach and functions.
