At the beginning of July, Paul and crew travelled to Savusavu through some bad weather and picked up a new crew upon arrival.

Paul and Katy took some well deserved time off in sunny Fiji for a week before returning to the yacht and new crew.

At the end of July, in Pauls words ‘we took a step back in time’ to Tanna where the locals were happy and friendly with lots of fishing!

They finished the month off in Port Resolution to visit Mount Yasur.

Following their trip to Port Resolution and Mount Yasur, Paul and crew travelled to Mackay, Australia, via Port Villa, the Coral Sea, and The Great Barrier Reef.

After arriving in Port Villa, they were joined by another two new crew members, who initially found the weather to be a little sickening!

Their stop in Mackay allowed the boat to be taken out of the water to receive some well needed maintenance.

The next leg of their journey took them north along the eastern coast of Queensland to Cairns, conducting training around The Great Barrier Reef on the way.

Their next stop was the northern most part of Australia, Cape York, where they enjoyed a run ashore to Horn Island.

Their final stop for September was a long Sail to Darwin via Cape Papa New Guinea where they spent some time at the Darwin Kite Festival and enjoying lots of the local wildlife and history.
