Senior Human Factors Engineer

Jacob joined the NESC team in June 2021 as a graduate, and has since become a Senior Human Factors Engineer. His responsibilities at NESC currently involve providing human factors input into nuclear safety case assessments and supporting successful implementation of performance enhancing elements into the operational business setting at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Ergonomics from Loughborough University, Jacob has a developed understanding of the complex relationship between people and the systems/environment with which they work. He is predominantly interested in human factors integration into high hazard industries, and is enthusiastic about expanding his project work involvement within Nuclear and Defence Industries.
